FAQ's

For Hair Clients

Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: You can book directly through our online booking page. Just choose your service, select your preferred stylist, and lock in your date and time.

Q: What should I do if I’m running late or need to cancel?
A: Please contact your stylist directly if you're running late. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late will be required to reschedule, and your deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance.

Q: Do you accept walk-ins?
A: Most of our stylists are by appointment only. We do offer same-day booking if available, but we recommend booking at least 2 days in advance to secure your spot.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
A: We accept PayPal, Cash App, Zelle (770-869-6106), and credit cards. PayPal is accepted directly through our online booking site.

Q: Can I bring food or talk on speaker during my service?
A: To maintain a peaceful and professional environment, we ask that clients do not bring outside food or use speakerphone during their appointment.

For Clients Booking Braided Styles

Q: Do I need to bring my own hair for braiding services?
A: Yes, you’ll need to bring your own braiding hair to your appointment. This allows you to choose the exact color, length, and texture you want for your style.

Q: What kind of hair should I bring?
A: We recommend using high-quality synthetic hair, such as X-Pression or a similar brand, especially for styles that are meant to last. Avoid the cheapest hair options, while they might save you a few dollars upfront, they often tangle easily, mat quickly, and don’t hold up well, which means your style won’t last as long (and won’t be worth the price you paid for the install).

Q: I’m not sure what kind of hair to buy. Can I get help before my appointment?
A: Yes! If you’re unsure about the type, color, or texture of hair to purchase, we recommend booking a 15-minute consultation ahead of your braiding appointment. This gives you one-on-one time to ask questions, get personalized guidance from Kariema, and ensure you purchase the right hair for your desired look and your natural hair texture.

For Stylists Renting a Suite or Chair

Q: How do I rent a chair or suite?

Q: What’s included in the rental?
A: All rentals include access to a professional-grade steamer, shampoo bowl, salon chair, and styling station. Wi-Fi and basic utilities are also included.

Q: Can I bring my own products or tools?
A: Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your own professional tools and products to serve your clients.

Q: Do you offer a student rental rate?
